Basile Affret, a 21-year-old student from Montpellier, disappeared in January. He disappeared after spending an evening at Iboat, a Bordeaux nightclub.
The young man apparently left the club around 4 a.m., perhaps under the influence of alcohol and drugs. A medico-legal autopsy is underway to determine the circumstances of the death and confirm the identity of the victim. The autopsy is currently underway, the police added. The body was found between two ships, but that it has not yet been formally identified.
