A man in his forties was brutally attacked during the night from Monday to Tuesday in Marignane (Bouches-du-Rhône), Le Figaro learned from a police source. The victim, heavily injured in the back, was allegedly attacked for tobacco.

The attacker struck him several times with a screwdriver, hitting his face, back and chest multiple times and puncturing one of his lungs. The man was taken to hospital and the police were investigating to find the attacker, whose identity was not known this Tuesday afternoon.
