Boy survivor of Mottarone disaster to get 3 minutes in damages. Eitan Biran, the nine-year-old boy who is the only survivor, is to get over three million euros in damages after an agreement was reached.
The Israeli boy has been at the center of a bitter legal battle between the paternal and maternal sides of his family. His maternal grandfather, Shmuel Peleg, was given a suspended sentence of one year, eight months for having taken the child to Israel in September 2021 when he was six.
