The planned deployment of the British aircraft carrier “HMS Queen Elizabeth” in an extensive NATO maneuver will not take place. Russia has already reacted to the announcement of the major NATO exercise and threatened tragic consequences. The maneuver represents a scenario in which a Russian attack on allied territory triggers the so-called alliance case according to Article 5 of the NATO Treaty.
