Bayern Munich has extended the contract of its goalkeeper Alexander Nübel by four years until the summer of 2029. The German club has also extended the duration of his loan to Stuttgart by two seasons.

The 27-year-old is currently on loan at the German club from Bayern Munich. He is announced as the successor in goal for Bayern Munich to Manuel Neuer (38), who extended his contract until thesummer of 2025. The goalkeeper is one of the architects of the beautiful 3rd place currently occupied by the Swabian club, with his sights set on participation in the next Champions League (seven points ahead of 5th place with six days remaining)  “I am very happy with this decision and the confidence that Bayern gives me, and at the same time I feel very good in Stuttakov,” explained Alexander Nuebel, quoted in the Bavarian club’s press release. “He has developed incredibly in recent years and is one- of the best goalkeepers in Germany,’ underlined Bayern sporting director Max Eberl.
