A 41-year-old caused a severe gas explosion in Weilburg in the Limburg-Weilburg district on Thursday (11 May) by using a camping stove in his apartment. The fire fizzled out when the man tried to light the stove with a lighter.
During the deflagration, a non-load-bearing wall in the apartment collapsed. The police are investigating the 41- year-old for negligent arson.. After using a campsite stove, a man was injured and a wall collapsed.
