After using a camping stove in his apartment, a man was injured. In addition, a wall collapsed. The police are investigating.
Weilburg – A 41-year-old caused a severe gas explosion in Weilburg in the Limburg-Weilburg district on Thursday (11 May) by using a camping stove in his apartment.
The police headquarters in West Hesse reports that gas leaked out because of the incorrect operation, which then fizzled out when the man tried to light the stove with a lighter. During the deflagration, a non-load-bearing wall in the apartment collapsed.

The fire brigade reached the scene around 22 p.m., the fire had already gone out. Fans were used to rid the apartment of smoke. The evacuated residents were later able to return to the building.
