Car crashes head-on into mini-van: cause still unclear – police are not ruling out a medical emergency. Police reported five other women were injured, including two with life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred on the connecting road between Mailheim and Oberndorf in the Neustadt/Aisch-Bad Windsheim district. Despite first aid measures being administered immediately, the 65-year-old died at the scene of the accident. Due to the rescue and recovery work, the accident site remained closed to traffic until late in the evening.
