Child care in Gmund: interim solution with containers for additional groups. The community currently has 42 crèche places, 147 kindergarten places and ten - in the future 15 - places in the play area.
Due to the high birth rate in 2021, an additional group will also be needed in the kindergarten from the 2024/2025 school year. As an interim solution, a container facility with four group rooms and additional rooms will be implemented in which a group from the Pius Children's Home will be accommodated.
