[HIGHLIGHTS] Cinema: from Jean Gabin to Johnny Depp, 123 years of filming in Val-d'Oise

Nearly 1,800 filmings have already taken place in the department. Comedies, detective films, historical sagas… There is something for everyone.

Here is our selection, with one film per decade since the official creation of the department in 1968. “The Pasha” (1968) is shot in particular at the disused Villeron sugar factory. In 2006, Ron Howard came to Condécourt to film Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou and Jean Reno in Da Vinci Code.
