Three months after being unveiled, the outlines of the security system that will crisscross the capital during the Paris 2024 Games are now becoming more precise. At this stage, the “philosophy” of the overall system remains unchanged, with the establishment of four perimeters.

The first, the organizing perimeter of Paris 2024, will be tightened as close as possible to the Olympic or Paralympic site. The second protection perimeter, known as Silt (from the Internal Security and Fight against Terrorism Law), will be attached to the organizer's perimeter. Next comes the perimeter prohibiting motorized traffic (red) then the perimeter of regulated traffic (blue)
