The Volksfestplatz has been the scene of gigantic rallies twice in the past few months. Several thousand demonstrators are expected again this Sunday.
The focus is not least on the AfD after the mysterious meeting in Potsdam, at which the deportation of thousands of people with a migrant background was discussed. The event is part of a nationwide series of anti-right-wing rallies in which several hundred thousand citizens have recently taken part. Police and the city's public order office will be present in large numbers to protect the rally.
