A 20-year-old man, living in Combs-la-Ville, was sentenced to 105 hours of community service on Thursday by the Melun criminal court. Tried in immediate appearance for his participation in the urban violence which engulfed the country following the death of young Nahel in Nanterre.

The police also took his half-brother into custody. He was also tried at the same time, but was released to everyone's surprise. Another, aged 18 but a minor at the time of the events, was in turn arrested the following day, Wednesday, at his home in Vaires-sur-Marne.
