Comedian Amy Schumer says criticism of her "swollen face" helped her discover the disease she suffers from. "So I realized something was wrong," said the actress about the comments she received during the promotional tour for the new season of 'Life & Beth' Schumer said she wanted to share her diagnosis publicly because she wants to "advocate for women's health," she said.
"I want women to love themselves and be relentless when they have to fight for their health in a system that usually doesn't believe them," she added.
