Commemoration of the dead in the city council for a deserving citizen and effective preacher. Ludwig Hauck was at the head of the Protestant deanery in Weilheim for two decades from 1976.
Hauck “did outstanding service to our city and its citizens,” said Mayor Markus Loth in his memorial service. He was one of the few recipients of the city's Golden Ring of Honor. For his services to the common good, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
