Curious find in Bavaria: Homeowner clears out the basement - but then he immediately calls the police. As it turned out, the projectile was a Bundeswehr practice grenade that posed no danger.
Police cleared the single-family home and sent photos of the grenade to the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) for further clarification. After about an hour and a half, the residents were able to return to their house on Saturday afternoon. As a police spokesman reports, the owner only purchased the property last year.
