Current comparison shows: A driving license costs twice as much in Munich as in Berlin. On average, learner drivers across Germany pay 3,312 euros for their license.
Closely followed by Munich is Leipzig (3,948 euros), with Potsdam in third place. Hanover is almost as cheap as Berlin: on average, a driving license there costs 2,792 euros. A driving hour costs 78 euros in the state capital – 53 euros in Berlin, according to the study.
