The Garmish police station is now asking for information from witnesses. The incident occurred on the Herbststrasse in Garmischer-Partenkirchen on Wednesday night (February 7th) According to the police, around 4:30 a.m. a resident noticed that a manholes cover had been removed from the shaft by a previously unknown person and lifted onto the road.
