Denmark to increase defense spending by 5.4 billion euros over five years. With this increase, Denmark will devote more than 2% of its GDP to defense in 2024.
“The government plans to increaseDefense spending by a total of 40.5 billion crowns between 2024 and 2028,” the Defense Ministry wrote in a statement. The Danish Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday an increase of 5.43 billion euros in defense spending, making it devote over 2% to defense.
