Derailment of a train on metro line 5: traffic interrupted between Place d'Italie and Campo-Formio. This partial derailment fortunately caused no injuries.
Fortunately, incidents of this type are very rare on the metro. A train traveling on line 12 overturned between the Saint-Georges and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette stations, causing 24 minor injuries. In June 2022, a line 10 train left its track, between Jussieu and Gare d'Austerlitz stations. There too, the train was empty.
