Karin and Helmut Huber met at a carnival ball in 1961. The couple married three years later in Hartmannshofen, Munich.
A special gift connects them to this day: a watch given by Helmut for Karin's 18th birthday. They still live in the same apartment in Germering, where they still live. Their only daughter was not born until 1968, and the couple has no grandchildren. The 60 years of marriage were spent in contentment, not excessively, but without any major worries.
