The Rennes ultra-left Collective Defense movement (DefCo) was dissolved on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers. This dissolution was mentioned a year ago by the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.
DefCo, founded in 2016 at the time of the protest against the El Khomri law on labor, presents itself as “an entirely open and public group, autonomous from political organizations, independent of commissions and assemblies” “No matter what happens next, the fight will continue,” DefCo reacted in April 2023 in a press release.
