The Miesbach District Youth Association (KJR) has been under external leadership since January of this year. The previous seven-member board, with the exception of assessor Jürgen Batek (Catholic Church), resigned at the end of 2023.

The trigger was the failed negotiations with the district office over the basic contract and the budget. Bernd Rohrbach has led the KJR on an interim basis for the past few months. Two administrative staff are being sought to keep operations running at KJR. The search should be completed by May, so that the new staff can ideally start work in the summer. The last, but probably the most difficult, measure is to install a new board that can permanently lead the KJR, which, as is well known, is made up of the various youth welfare providers. “We want to bring the participating associations together, reported Rohr Bach. You are already in contact. The youth welfare committee now found out what it should look like.
