Bridge in the city of Baltimore, three meters long, collapsed after a cargo ship hit it. According to reports, several vehicles were on it at the time of the impact.
Authorities are working to remove seven people from the Patapasco River, into which the bridge collapsed. The Transportation Authority of the state of Maryland, where Baltimore is located, announced following the collision that it was directing traffic to alternative routes. A bridge in the U.S. is expected to collapse in 2024.
