A 40-year-old man tried to steal a bottle of perfume from a supermarket in Tel Aviv. The saleswoman tried to prevent him from stealing more perfumes, and he sprayed pepper spray at the turn.
The seller was evacuated for medical treatment and the accused fled the scene. Shortly after he was arrested, an indictment was filed against him for theft, attempted theft, and assault causing actual bodily harm. The victim of the attack sustained injuries to her face and needed to be evacuated by ambulance.
