The Government of Javier Milei announced that a crisis committee was formed to intervene in the city of Rosario. Federal Police, the National Gendarmerie, the Naval Prefecture, the Airport Security Police and the Penitentiary Service will assist the Santa Fe Police in the fight against drug trafficking.
The Armed Forces have been empowered to provide assistance in internal security operations, under the terms of article 27 of Law 24,059. "The National Government is determined to confront the drug trafficking mafia and the hitmen who established a regime of death and terror," says Milei.
