Police officers noticed a clear smell of alcohol from the driver, reports Police Chief Inspector Robert Hirschel. He voluntarily underwent a breath alcohol test, which showed a value well above the 0.5 alcohol limit. The result was then confirmed by an alcohol test that could be used in court. Further travel was stopped and the vehicle was parked safely.
