[HIGHLIGHTS] Due to the cut of half of the staff of the Riachuelo sanitation agency, there was union mobilization and bomb threats in the Microcenter

The dismissal of half of the political structure of the Matanza Riachuelo Basin Authority (ACUMAR) generated a mobilization of the ATE unions. There, in addition, various bomb threats were recorded.

The unions claim that the layoffs were "political." The plant had grown by 100% between 2019 and 2023, the authorities indicated. ACUMAR is currently led by Lucas Figueroa, who had already served in the position during Mauricio Macri's administration.
