A 79-year-old Mercedes driver drove into a gas pump shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday in Eching.
He then stopped a few meters away and contacted the employee of the gas station. She told him to wait, as he had caused an accident. The person who caused the accident did not wait and drove home. There he finally got a visit from the police, who had called the employee. The man's driver's license was confiscated and he had to undergo a blood test at the Freising Hospital.
