EDP will power Ecologistic's activities with solar energy. System will have a capacity of over 5 MWP (megawatt peak) and will allow emissions to be reduced by over three thousand tonnes of Co2 per year.
This will allow the company to cover over 30% of its energy needs with renewable sources, with annual savings of over 1.5 million euros on the electricity bill. Since the end of November 2023, EDP Energia Italia has already signed contracts for almost 130 MWP of solar energy in companies.
