Several thousand people – parents, teachers, trade unionists, elected officials – demonstrated in front of the Seine-Saint-Denis prefecture this game Thursday. They are demanding measures to help the poorest department in France.
Representatives of the movement will try to make their demands heard this Friday during a meeting at the Ministry of National Education. The demonstration is also characterized by firm opposition to the implementation of uniforms and level groups. “This measure would socially sort students and demobilize them quickly,” says MP Alexis Corbière.
