Stéphane Vadepied of Noues-de-Sienne, in Calvados, was asked to regularize his electricity bill of 5,542.42 euros. He believes he was not notified of the increase in electricity market prices.
He joined a Facebook group of unhappy customers and discovered several other cases of bill explosions. The Italian company Eni claims to have warned its customer, by mail, in August 2023. The Norman obtained two reductions to lower the bill to 2,300 euros. “It’s still excessive,” he proclaims.
