“OpenAI has been effectively transformed into a division of Microsoft,” reads the lawsuit, which represents the latest chapter in the battle between Musk and Altman that has been going on for years. Musk left OpenAI's board of directors in 2018, and the company has since become a leader in generative AI and created ChatGPT.
