EnBW boss resigns after disagreements. Georg Stamatelopoulos is now moving to the top position.
Schell only took up his position as EnBW boss in November 2022 with a contract term of three years. Despite intensive discussions, no agreement has been reached in the past few months, says EnBW chairman Lutz Feldmann. "We regret this step, which is taking place by mutual agreement," says Feldmann of Schell's departure. The supervisory board approved this decision in an extraordinary meeting, the company announced on Friday.
