Eos buys 6 agrivoltaic plants in Italy from Lightsource. The portfolio, with a total capacity of 294 MW, is made up of photovoltaic projects authorized or in the final authorization phase.
The start of construction is expected in the next 12 months, which will promote the integration of renewable energy generation with various agricultural activities. This transaction allows Lightsource to invest and further extend its presence in the Italian market. The company has so far developed a portfolio of photom PV systems of over 1 Gw in the advanced authorization phase and has consolidated a substantial pipeline of energy storage projects.
