Escaped rapist caught in Schleswig-Holstein. 54-year-old was caught on Friday evening in the Dithmarschen district.
Police had been searching for the convicted rapist since Tuesday evening. The prisoner was in preventive detention at the Tegel Correctional Facility (JVA) The man was sentenced in 2004 by the Dessau-Roßlau regional court in Saxony-Anhalt to a total sentence of ten years and nine months in prison for rape and deprivation of liberty.
