An amateur basketball player in Essonne was sentenced for smashing his teammate in training. Nevil B., 24, was sentenced this Tuesday, during an appearance on prior admission of guilt (CRPC) at the Évry-Courcouronnes judicial court.
The victim had to be operated on under general anesthesia, the bones of his cheekbone having been broken and his eye socket depressed. He has since apologized, admitting it was "a bloodbath", and has been expelled from the club.
