Opened in 1964, it is the largest gas storage site in Île-de-France. Straddling the two communes, it extends over 3.6 ha along the Seine, the N 7 and the RER D lines.
“There is a real risk of explosion. Maintaining this deposit is an aberration ecologically, economically and for the safety of local residents. Without forgetting the tens of thousands of users who use line D,” have been warning the two municipalities.
