Justice Minister Yariv Levin continues to insist on changing the composition of the committee for selecting judges. The State Attorney's Office rejected a petition regarding the nomination of two judges, submitted by the right-wing organization Lavi.

"It is appropriate to resolve the whole issue by fundamentally changing" the committee's composition, says the position paper submitted to the High Court. Tomorrow the committee will meet, and will discuss the candidacy of two Supreme Court registrars in the northern district. The committee includes three judges of the Supreme Court, four members of the Knesset, and two representatives Bar Association.
