Parashat Teruma teaches us how to build the vessels of the Mishkan called "cherubim" Rabbi Shai Tahan explains about them in detail, just before we read the parsha this coming Shabbat in the synagogue Parshat Teruma. According to him, the Torah says about those cherubs that they should be made in one piece, that is, as if they were one.

The cherubim symbolize our connection with God, and when they look at each other, it is a sign that we are close to God.
