Expansion and renovation of the Geretsried middle school – operation not until 2030. The government of Upper Bavaria is funding the project with an estimated 20 million euros.
A total of around 750 students will be taught in 30 classes in the existing building and the new building - including a special support and German class. The tree felling and route laying will begin in October 2025 and is expected to last eight months. The new building can ideally be opened at the turn of the year 2028/2029. Overall, the planners expect a total cost volume of around 48.5 euros.
