Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp suffer a global outage that affects hundreds of thousands of users. The outage began around 10:00 a.m.
ET when more than 300,000 users reported service interruptions on Facebook and about 40,000 on Instagram. “We are aware that people are having problems accessing our services. We are currently working on it,” said Meta spokesperson Andy Stone in a post on the X social network. The monitoring site also recorded at least 200 reports of service interruption on WhatsApp.
