The Commissariat for Property Crimes in Munich is now investigating the incident. The fraudster posed as an employee at a local bank branch and asked the woman to make two transfers. She ultimately gave him crucial access data that the fraudster could use to access her account. Shortly afterwards, the woman discovered that her account had been looted.
