Gernlinden held its 75th carnival parade on February 11. Only seven cars and six groups of pedestrians paraded through the streets.
Around 2,500 spectators gathered around the community center. For some participants there will be a reunion on Shrove Tuesday in Olching. Some of the Gern linden organizers will also be there: you can relax and watch. The local cartel was even able to rely on the active support of the local administration: Mayor Hans Seidl had joined the eager helpers with the collection box.
