The picturesque village of Monreal is located in the middle of the Elz Valley. Assinghausen enchants with its black and white half-timbered houses and slate roofs typical of the Sauerland.
Hülchrath is only about 17 kilometers from Düsseldorf and the highlight of the village is the castle of the same name, surrounded by a moat. Ramsau near Berchtesgaden is a true oasis for nature lovers and is considered Bavaria's first mountaineering village.
