Emmanuel Macron estimated that it would be “easy to blame everything on Europe’ to explain the difficulties of French farmers. The French president, on a state visit to Sweden, also explained that he was opposed to the trade agreement being negotiated between the European Union and the Mercosur countries.
He called for “clear measures” for imports of chicken and grain from Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron then called on Europeans to support Ukraine “in the long term” and to compensate for any possible decline in American aid.
