Fatal maneuver? Small van speeds into oncoming traffic - apparently while overtaking. Four people were injured in Lower Franconia on Thursday evening, February 1st.
The reason for this was probably a fatal overtaking maneuver by a small van on federal highway 27 between Himmelstadt and Karlstadt, Main-Spessart district. According to initial, as yet unconfirmed, information from the scene of the accident, the accident occurred when a van attempted to overtake two vehicles in front. There was a head-on collision with an oncoming VW Tiguan.
