Zorneding has to spend a lot of money - and save elsewhere. This also affects local clubs, such as the TSV or the church community.
The administrative budget includes income and expenses of around 23.1 million euros. By 2025 at the latest, the municipality will have to take out loans to cope with the tasks.. The meeting of the budget committee passed without discussions as far as the budget for 2024 was concerned. Things became a little more controversial when it came to subsidies for clubs. The Pro Christophoruskirche association's application for a guarantee of 1,000 euros for the “Literary Autumn” event series was therefore rejected. The Young Culture Association wants to organize an open air party again this year. For this the municipality grants a fixed subsidy of 500 euros and a default guarantee of 1000 euros in the event of bad weather. The Sports & Culture Support Association can look forward to a maximum grant of 5,000 euro for families who cannot afford to take part in the holiday program from their own resources.
