Financial inequalities between women and men start in the piggy bank. On this Women's Rights Day, a study lifts the veil on the inequalities in treatment that exist between boys and girls.

According to the study, girls receive on average 6 euros less monthly pocket money than boys. A figure which does not improve with age and reaches its peak among 16 to 18 year olds, with a monthly difference of 16.20 euros, or an annual surplus of 194.40 euros in favor of boys.
