Fire in Urspring: tool battery explodes while charging. There was damage amounting to around 25,000 euros.
The victim, who tried to put out the fire himself, suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital. The police were alerted around 10:50 a.m. and the volunteer fire departments from Steingaden and Urspring were on duty. The Peitinger Wehr, which had also been alerted, was able to be called away again on the way to Urspring.
